With a holistic approach towards design and manufacturing projects Paja&Bureau fuses traditional crafts skills and knowledge with contemporary techniques, tools and aesthetics.
At the heart of each project is a deep respect for honest materials. We aim to base our decisions on the innate qualities of each individual material and to emphasize those features by displaying structures and exposing surfaces rather than covering. This is reflected especially in our use of different metals and their various surface treatments which we’ve experimented with to highlight the nature of the material.
The origin of the materials plays a significant role in our value system and we aim to utilize only ethically and ecologically sourced materials and design with the intention of minimizing waste.
Our aim is to offer each customer a wide range of options at the beginning of each project and include versatility along the way from start to finish. We strive towards maximum in-house planning and execution which allows us to be both a reliable and adaptable partner. We also value transparency to a high degree and take pride in active and honest communication throughout each project.
For us sustainable practices are an obvious way of conducting business and feel it is a requisite part of operating a company in any form. From material, subcontracting partners, logistics to manufacturing processes and facility operations we constantly and regularly assess each facet of our business through an environmental impact lens.
